Guides & policies

What size jersey should I buy?

Centimetres first. Authentic shirts follow the player cut. The letter on the label is a nickname — two shirts both called M can differ by several centimetres.

The short answer

One rule if you remember nothing else

Measure a jersey that already fits. Compare those centimetres with the table on that product page. Authentic runs smaller and more athletic than a regular t-shirt. Between sizes: take the larger shirt unless you already wear a player cut and want it snug on purpose.

01

Flat

Lay the shirt. Smooth it. Do not stretch.

02

Chest

Armpit to armpit. That is half-chest. Double only if the table shows circumference.

03

Length

Shoulder next to the collar, down to the hem. Long-sleeve: seam to cuff.

Authentic sizing

Cut for movement and a base layer. Narrower shoulders, often a shorter body, less drape. One size up from your usual t-shirt is common; two is not rare if you are broad or wear a long sleeve underneath.

Train in the size you will actually play in. Heat and sweat change how the shirt feels before the centimetres change. Do not copy a labelled size you saw on television.

Rough men’s starting point only: many authentic M shirts sit around 96–101 cm chest circumference. That is not a promise. The product table wins. Women’s dedicated kits have their own chart. Unisex is sometimes worn one size down by customers who usually buy a women’s top.

Women, youth, gifts

Women’s cut: that chart, not a men’s guess. Youth follows height more than age — do not buy two years large for a match this Saturday. For a gift you cannot measure, write the desk with a half-chest from a shirt that already fits. Unused, tagged, unwashed: 30 days. Personalised letters do not return for taste. World Cup travel: leave time for an exchange; Express only helps when the size is in stock. Abroad: plan 9–11 days.

Still between two sizes? Send tuki@nordpulse.fi the product link, three measurements, and whether you layer. We answer from the chart — not from a guess about your favourite player.
